Are your vendors controlling your cash flow? It happens more often than you’d think. Many ecommerce business owners pay bills the moment they hit their inbox — before they even check whether the cash is there to cover it comfortably.

Payment terms exist for a reason. If a vendor gives you net-30, use it. That’s 30 days of float you can put to work. Map out when payments are due, align them with your disbursement schedule, and pay strategically rather than reactively. You’re not being slow — you’re being smart. Cash flow is about timing as much as amount, and taking back control of the timing changes everything.
