“Hiding in Plain Sight” was the theme for our Profit First Mastery event. One exercise was to list our challenges on large sticky notes and add them to the wall. Then we walked around and looked at everyone else’s challenges — and the patterns were unmistakable.

The answers to most of our biggest challenges were already in the room. In the experiences of the people around us. In the data we hadn’t looked at carefully. In the systems we’d been meaning to build for months. The answers are often hiding in plain sight — in your own financials, in your customer feedback, in the patterns you’ve been too busy to notice. Slow down enough to look.
