I recently caught an episode of The Tim Ferriss Show with Ev Williams, co-founder of Twitter, Blogger, and Medium. He has definitely left his mark on how the world communicates. What struck me most was his honesty about how little of his success was planned.

Greatness can’t be planned. The most impactful things Williams built came from experimentation, following signals, and being willing to pivot hard when something wasn’t working. Creativity and intuition — not a formula — drove the breakthroughs. In your business, make room for experimentation. Not everything needs a five-year plan. Some of the best moves start as a hunch you decide to follow.
