I’ve seen in my social media feed this concept that business can be made simple. Donald Miller even has a book, podcast, and platform titled “Business Made Simple.” And while I appreciate the spirit of it, I want to be honest: business is hard.

It’s hard in the best way. The kind of hard that builds character, demands growth, and produces something you’re genuinely proud of. The simplification frameworks are useful — but they don’t eliminate the hard. They organize it. If you’re finding it hard right now, that’s not a sign you’re doing it wrong. It’s a sign you’re doing it. Keep going. The hard is the point.
