Last week I attended my Fortress Retreat — my Profit First mastermind. I’ve worked alongside this same group of seven Profit First Mastery Members for 10 years. At least four of us cooked dinner together one evening, and what happened in that kitchen was a masterclass in business.

Clear roles. Good communication. Everyone contributing their strength. No one stepping on each other. And a genuinely good meal at the end of it. Teams work the same way. When everyone knows their role, communicates clearly, and brings their best — the result is better than any one person could have produced alone. Build that kind of team. It’s worth everything.
