Resistance
Today I am looking forward to a call with a client to start preparing for goal setting in his business.
They had some homework to do and I was to receive it 2 days ago.
It has not arrived yet.
I get it.
The first part of our work together confirmed their fears.
They shared on our discovery call that they weren't sleeping at night because they weren't sure where they stood on their ability to pay next week’s bills.
We have worked with them to generate the thirteen-week cash plan and the picture revealed the trouble they knew at a gut level was there.
Now they see the picture every few weeks because they have a big payout due for inventory and a cash crunch.
They have confirmation now of the challenge and asked if it always be this way?
Do you detect a note of hopelessness in that question?
Of the course, we provide some solutions and tell you that you can look at profitability by sku and cut the products that aren't performing, and you can grow your revenues with new products or services with better margins, and on and on about the levers that can be pulled.
But I'm sure what the client heard was there ain't no easy fix, and what they felt deep down was despair.
Today we're going to meet and face the resistance to change because this client totally has a great business.
And if they can embrace a mindset of the scientist developing a hypothesis for steps toward the outcome they want in the business performance, then they will transform and grow into the leader the business needs.
I'm excited to work with them today and help them see that doom and despair is not inevitable.
Facing the music is hard, and you may not always have the tools in your toolbox to do it alone.
However, I do believe you always have all the courage and curiosity to take the next steps.
Taking those steps will help you build your confidence and you will take bigger steps and grow.
Don't stay stuck. Schedule a call.
We can show you the way forward with our Cash Accelerator.
All you need to do is take that next step.
