I’m still curious

Last week I was journaling about a decision I'm trying to make and I used the Cosmic Journey Oracle cards by Yanick Silver.

I met and learned from Yanick at the Last Profit First Mastermind.

He's been doing some great work on creativity for entrepreneurs recently and he gave me this card deck.

It's such a fun way to open your mind to other perspectives.

Today I was prompted to think about my question as my 11-year-old self.

I had a hard time even remembering that age!

I was grateful for the music of that year as I searched for the top hits and gave them a listen.

I was immediately transformed.

I recall The Locomotion by Grand Funk Railroad playing on the jukebox at the arcade by the lake.

Benny and The Jets was another favorite.

Yes, I'm that old!

And I can remember at that age clearly that I was curious. I still am.

I love to know why and how and to expand my thinking to open up other possibilities.

It's funny how now, writing this, the decision that I was struggling with earlier seems to be less imposing.

Why was I pushing so hard for a resolution?

The lesson I took is to stay curious, keep exploring and pondering.
